Team USA | Brand Workshop Lead, Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026
Team USA invited me to lead a two-part branding workshop with their internal creative team ahead of the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games, serving as both a brand exploration and a creative reset.
The engagement centered on two real challenges the team regularly navigated: brand guideline rigidity and the unique visual difficulty of winter sports, where helmets, goggles, and gear often obscure the athlete's faces and emotions that typically anchor sports storytelling.
Structured across two remote sessions: open ideation and mood boarding, followed by design presentations and critique, the workshops gave the team room to think differently. I came in as both designer and outside consultant, sharing not just concepts but the strategic reasoning behind them.
Together, we explored how Team USA could build a digital presence that feels bold enough to stand out and approachable enough to connect with a broad, diverse audience — ownable, expressive, and distinctly theirs.
