Oregon State Football 2022
Graphic Designer & Photographer.
Overview
This is a collection of work I accomplished during my time as a Graphic Designer for Beaver Football in 2022. Working alongside Jake Namisnak, The Dir. of Graphic Design, I was responsible for producing daily high-quality still, motion digital, and print graphics for social media, and recruiting content. Developed a recruiting class logo and brand system. Produced practice and game day photography and aided in building the visual brand of Beaver Football with overarching design and aesthetic decisions that reflected our program's values and tone of voice.
This season my goal was to create a consistent and engaging visual brand across all avenues of graphic design content produced for Beaver Football. This was accomplished by the use of consistent color treatment, dramatic typography, and the strong contrast of orange on black.
Responsibilities
Social graphics are intended to inform fans about information regarding the game and build a social buzz throughout the week leading up to kickoff. This includes Game-day Posters, Statistics templates, Wallpapers, and Hype graphics. These Projects are intended to visually communicate games, stats, and/or individual/team accomplishments to promote the team to future recruits and fans through social media. During the season, I was tasked with developing still and motion social graphics that fit within and expand upon the Beavs visual brand while matching the tone of voice of the beaver football program and its values.
Challenges
Working in season means fast deadlines and quick turnaround which lead to a lot of rapid creative decisions. Many of these graphics were complex and time-consuming, however, each project was executed at the highest quality and was made in one workday.

Overview
Recruiting Graphics are intended to display interest in the potential and committed recruits while also building hype for the football program. These graphic templates, semi-custom, and custom graphics were sent to recruits individually to be shared by the players over social media.
Responsibilities
This season I was in charge of creating Good Luck graphics and was assigned to create a logo system for the recruiting class of 2024. I created two on-brand graphic templates a week with the ability to plug in the recruit's full name and the school they will be playing that week. Furthermore, I was tasked with developing many custom and semi-custom graphics for recruits throughout the season.
Challenges
Each graphic comes with its own set of challenges but there were a few things that I had to solve creatively for each. First, I had to ideate different phrases and verbiage that coincided with the creative direction, such as, "don’t sleep on (name)" or "Finish Strong" instead of just "good luck". I was adamant about this as a way to spice up the graphics by giving more context to the overall piece. Then, a considerable challenge was finding a way to typographically fit the recruit's full name in the graphic template while reading correctly and being aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, I was required to cover the player's face with a visor as needed, which sometimes can be difficult to get right, but I did my best with the amount of time given.
